i was recently introduced to eilen jewell's cover of "shakin' all over" by tom. it is one of those songs that we grew up with,first heard by vince taylor & the playboys then later by the who and yes,suzi quatro.this song never fails to move me,man.
find shakin' all over on sea of tears...it's all good.

i come by it honestly,my insatiable appetite for good Christmas music.
like my mother before me(and still) i start the turntable early on,the
day after thanksgiving and play it non-stop until right after the new year.

well,probably in this unstable economy.yes.
but it feels so right.and so soft and so perfectly

that i impulsively bought to mark last years 50th b-day.
anyway,i lovelovelove this Organic Cotton Leafy Scarf in Fresh Cream
and plan to incorporate it into my everyday.

i am spending the night with chris botti
...and my bffs.
chris botti will be performing at the touhill for two nights,
we will be there tomorrow night with bells on.it has been a long
time since i have turned to putty for a musician,
a good bone structure gets me everytime!

i made the decision to replace my old dell with this pretty,shiny new macintosh.
i have had it for a week now,and i DO love it.i do.i knew it would be different.it is.
i am slowly getting to know the new ways and having fun with the gadgets..like the
photobooth feature...having fun hamming for it..seeing the many faces i can make,
killing untold amounts of time...but getting to know someone/something takes time.
my cd's are all stacked up waiting their turns to be cataloged in iTunes.fun.
BUT
i miss my picasa.
i miss putting "hidden" links on my blog...i lost the capability i used to know.

i spent a lovely day with 2 of 3 of my babies on saturday.
tony had recently taken an apartment above the starbuck's
on delmar in u.city and i had yet to see it,so once we took
the 10 cent tour of his very comfy cool,yet teeny abode,we hit the
heady street life that is the "loop"....there was a wonderful
pottery sale at the craft alliance and a steaming plate of red
beans and rice at blueberry hill with our names all over it,and
all kinds of music filled the chilly,windy air as we strolled from
one end to the other...i enjoyed the day thoroughly....and was given
an awesome pair of earrings by baby jane from the kiddos..a sweet
little cherry atop an already creamy day!
