birds & wOrdS...the beginning

tonight is the official first meeting of the atc guild...
yep,the artist trading card guild,held in the
rock,paper,scissors workshop
each month a guild member will demonstrate a
favorite technique and choose the theme for the next months
atc offering.we have a core of amazingly talented,enthusiastic
artists/swappers at the ready!
the theme for the first swap is birds & wOrdS...carol mollica
sent her fabulous set from chicago,lovely blackbirds with a little
twinkle in their eyes!mine are of the pink sort,i will add the others
for your enjoyment!

this is the turtle crawl inn formerly known as cook's holiday lodge,
where we stayed (uppermost left side) 25 years ago.that space
was occupied so we stayed in the uppermost right condo.
we rented a little 19 ft. boat and took it out on sarasota bay
one day and this gorgeous creature came right up to amaze
and delight us!later on that day we spotted a dozen more
playing in the water...what a site...what a treat!

this is a map that has hung on the wall by the entrance to
the office of cook's for as long as i can remember..."tacky" goodness!

working on 25 more years,one day,one kiss,one challenge at a time!

back at it....

back on terra firma st.charles.....
a wonderful,restful,peaceful time was had on longboat key,
thanks to all for your warm and thoughtful good wishes....
i will share more about the trip later,right now we are off to
restock the pantry!

25 years ago...

.........i married tom lombardozzi.we were "cosmic mates",friends
and lovers...just babies.today we are life partners,who have been
through the life mill mannnny times over and have come out strengthened
and pliable..always better for it,almost always.
we are "cosmic mates",friends and lovers and then some x 10!

we are off to the scene of our honeymoon 25 years ago
longboat key,florida

soldered charm! from the packaging to the dangly bead
