please keep my beloved mother-in-law,ann,
in your thoughts and in your prayers. she has
suffered two brain stem strokes and will need
to remain hospitalized for some length of time.
she is very dear...it's very painful to see her
struggle this way...i know some of you have
gone through the damage a stroke can cause
to a loved one....

I have been there. It's heartbreaking for sure. Keeping her in my thoughts and prayers. May she be in exactly the right place to receive the care she needs and may her caregivers be both skilled and compassionate. Hang in there.
Denise, you all are in my prayers. My grandfather survived for over 10 years after having a series of very serious strokes. Hang in there.
