Cyberstampers Convention Online Class 6/23/02
Since walnut ink behaves differently on different surfaces, experimentation is highly recommended. This sample book gives you a great way to document those experiments so that you can refer back to them later, making the results that you like more reproducible. Since this book is a working document for you to use, be sure to include both your successes AND failures. That way you won't repeat the techniques that you didn't like and will be better able to reproduce those that you do like. The suggested sample book is shown here. }

friend,barb. she was out & about antiquing
with her husband,denny,when she spotted this
and thought of me....thanks,barb! i love it!
it was sent to miss lizzy walker in liberty,illinois
in 1907 from her friend nina...the note enclosed
in the teeny envelope reads...
"dear lizzie,
i did not get to town last week.....
there hasn't been any wedding up there
yet has there? there is going to be another
picnic at beverly next thursday,i am not
going till afternoon.and there is going to be
a circus here at barry friday. tell susie i
will send her a card the next time i go to
town.we are going to have a big time here
at the carnival.
i have a postcard album,it holds 62 cards
i have 49 cards.well goodbye

strong black coffee,waiting
for paint to dry on a box i am using
for an assemblage,that will house a
cool cabinet card and other trinkets.

i particularly love the katy trail pages

the mia circle journey
it has been weeks,hinging on months
since i gave my studio a goooooooood
cleaning and going over.well yesterday
was the day...one pile at a time i
began to rediscover my art table,all
of the colorwashes are back in their
proper slots as are the "neat" little rows
of rubber stamps,stacks of papers and
assorted embellishments.
to my horror i found the circle journey
journal that i thought my art sis,carol,had.
i have lost track of how long it must have
been here by now...could this be fall out from
a harried holiday season,do i have too much
on my plate or do i blame it on age? what ever
the scenario...today i am turning over a new leaf,
first things first,one day at a time and all that
no nonsense rot!
soooo sorry,carol! i'm on it,girlfriend!

juju shoe
what fun! i am a contributing artist for carla naron and the collage cat zine,and our assignment was to do something,anything "off the wall". i really stewed over this one,but after bouncing around a few ideas with the ccdezignteam, i eventually came up with this...a juju shoe! it is definitely off the wall and on my dressing table! the perfect solution to display my collection of vintage rhinestone pins!
it started when my daughter needed a high heel to alter for a school art project. i then had a single great black velvet shoe with which to alter my own self! the rest is herstory...so to say!
